Hotel Borges Chiado Lisbon, Lisbon

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were modern, clean, and spacious with a separate bathroom, offering great comfort. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore Lisbon, although the lack of soundproof windows could be improved. The breakfast was delightful with fresh orange juice, but the dining options were limited in the evening. Overall, a great value for the money.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location was excellent with a lovely view, the room was overpriced and of a sad standard, especially being completed adjacent to the hotel. On the downside, the service was extremely unfriendly, and the dining options were terrible. However, the hotel is in a perfect central Lisbon location with great access to public transport.

The hotel's location is its strongest point, being right in the city center and extremely close to major attractions. The rooms lacked space for storage and attention to detail, feeling overpriced for the standard provided.

The hotel had a lovely view from the tiny rooms with very poor isolation. Despite the spaciousness and bright ambiance, the bathroom was huge, and the breakfast room was grand, although often crowded.

The rooms were fine and a good size for a twin room with a view, but unfortunately, the separated twin beds were terrible, strange, smelled musty, and overall not a good place to stay. The service was a bit of a hit and miss – some staff members were very kind, especially assisting in the breakfast room, while others weren't very friendly. The location was a standout, being right in the center with excellent access to major Metro stations and attractions. The dining was a bit disappointing with limited breakfast options, and the facilities were basic. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks.

The hotel was a mixed experience overall. The rooms were very comfortable and nice, although the second room, while superior, was relatively big. They were a good size and very clean. The service was a bit lacking, especially upon arrival when we struggled with our bags and the staff member didn't assist. However, they were accommodating and helpful with answering questions. The location was perfect, close to buses, trams, Baixa, Comerical Square, and more, making it very convenient. The dining experience left much to be desired as it was not worth the money, being lacking in variety and quality. The facilities were standard without any standout features.
